NTNU is looking for a PhD Candidate, the goal is a completed doctoral education up to an obtained doctoral degree within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

NTNU is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate with an interest in analysis and optimization of wind turbine operations to help us and an industrial partner develop optimal strategies for lifetime-conscious power curtailment.

The position will be part of the EU Horizon 2020 MSCA Doctoral Network “Training Wind Energy Experts on Digitalisation” (TWEED). More information about the network and the position can be found here

Applicants must have a master degree, and not more than 4 years of research experience after the degree

The starting date of the position should be around March 2025. Two research stays at ETH Zurich (3 months, Switzerland) and the industrial partner EnBW (6 months, Germany) are required.
